Cricket Festival

On behalf of the School's PE department and the Parent's Association, we are delighted to invite former pupils and their families to the 6-a-side Cricket Festival at Newcastle-under-Lyme School.

The event takes place on Stubbs Field starting at 11.30am, with matches scheduled to take place simultaneously from midday onwards. Refreshments will be available including hot and cold food, cakes and a licensed bar, and there will be a raffle on the day too.

For the matches, there will be two separate tiers of entry for the festival - U14s and Open Age. For the Open Age competition, it's very much hoped that former pupils will be keen to enter teams and compete along side current pupils and parents. For further information or to  register your interest, please contact our teacher in charge of cricket, Gareth Breen - gbreen@nuls.org.uk

Previous events have raised funds that enabled the purchase and installation of a non-turf cricket wicket on Top Field, sailing equipment for the CCF and Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme, as well as more recent purchases for the Home Economics, Music and Drama departments.

We look forward to seeing you there!
