School News
Newcastle-under-Lyme School are delighted that our students have achieved the highest set of GCSE results for the School for five years with 61% of all entries graded at A* or A.

Of individual entries 30% were A*, 61% A* A, 84% A* B.

There were a staggering 26 students gaining all A* or As. Three students achieved A* in all nine of their subjects, and another gained an extra A in addition to nine A*s. From the grade percentages it is evident how many more received top grades throughout the broad range of subjects. Too many to list here and now, when we are celebrating all the individual achievements.

Deputy Head Academic, Mark Snell, said, “We are incredibly proud of all this year’s GCSE students. They have delivered an excellent set of results which they should deservedly celebrate. These are firm foundations for a very bright future at A level and beyond.”
